The panel, which chooses both the regional Entrepreneur Of The Year® award finalists and award recipients, is composed of local business leaders, leading CEOs and private capital investors.

Janssen Healthcare Innovation, a team within Janssen Research & Development, LLC., (Janssen), announced the three finalists of the crowdsourcing-inspired Janssen Connected Care Challenge. The three finalists are being awarded $50,000 each to further develop their technology-enabled, scalable solutions to improve care for patients as they are discharged from the hospital.

Cary, N.C. – Leah Brown, President and CEO of A10 Clinical Solutions, Inc. has been selected to receive the 2011 Woman of Color Achievement Award from The Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO), in partnership with American Express OPEN®, the small business division of American Express, and 100 Black Men of America. The award is in recognition of Brown’s community service and for the economic impact her business has had nationally. It will be presented on October 20, 2011 at the Capital City Club in Raleigh.
